- Baggage - all passengers are allowed one piece piece of hand luggage not exceeding 55cm x 38cm x 20cm and weighing no more than 10kg. This is the baggage policy for all destinations excluding Johannesburg where the hand luggage restriction is 7kg. Free checked-in baggage is limited to 2 pieces of luggage weighing no more than 32kg each for Business Class and 2 pieces of luggage at no more than 23kg each for Premium Economy and Economy Class. The total linear dimensions of any given piece of luggage cannot exceed 203cm.
- Check-in - RwandAir passengers can check in at a designated counter at the airport at least 90 minutes prior to departure. Check-in counters are typically open 3 hours prior to departure. Online check-in is open from 24 hours to 3 hours prior to departure. Whether checking in at a counter or online, you will need your ID and passport with you. Online check-in is only available for flights departing from the following airport codes: KGL, BJM, EBB, ACC, LOS, KME, LUN, DXB, DAR, JRO, NBO, HRE and BOM.

RwandAir offers in-flight entertainment on long haul flights, particularly on the 737-800 fleet. The entertainment system provides passengers with a selection of Hollywood and classic movies, popular TV shows and an audio library. The airline also serves hot meals on long haul flights with beef, chicken, fish and vegetarian options.

RwandAir Offers Direct Flights from Kigali to Brussels in July 2017
In the wake of RwandAir’s recent flight launch between SA to London, the announcement of an additional scehduled routing between Kigali and Brussels, as early as July 2017, has caused a certain amount of surprise in the industry. The airline spokesperson confirmed that 3 direct flights could be offered each week on the airlines Airbus A330 fleet.

RwandAir Contributes to Tourism Expansion in Rwanda
Rwanda’s tourism industry is said to be fetching as much as $40 million more than the previous year due to expansion in various markets. Bart Gasana, the chairperson of tourism chamber of Private Sector Federation in Rwanda said that RwandAir's affordable flights are making the country more accessible to tourists and doing good things for the tourism industry.
